The new site coincides with the latest running CRM campaign for Strongbow, and features visuals of tools of the trade along with features and competitions around the topic of ‘hard graft’. The website still has all of its existing content including talkSPORT, Bowtime, Bar finder and its festivals page, but it now has newly added features to encourage more interaction from consumers.

There is a grafter’s hall of fame, which allows people to upload photos of themselves or others and share why they deserve to be in the hall of fame. Lucky members could win an exclusive Bowtime T-shirt. Bow-tube is also a new feature, which allows people to upload funny clips and music.

During last years mobile CRM campaign 90,000 people were added to the client’s database. The new website aims to build on this strong relationship that Strongbow has with its consumers, hopefully creating better communication of the brands values in an entertaining, interesting and interactive way.

Cadbury Rises Again!

After a slow start to the year Cadbury has now seen sales rising in the UK and US.

The confectionary group saw improved trading during April and May, and fully expects to meet forecasts for full-year sales growth. The strong Easter trade and the re-launch of the Wispa bar saw Cadbury gain a good market share.

Wispa successfully returned as a limited-edition product in 2007, five years after it had been axed due to falling sales. After a large fan base came to light they re-launched the chocolate bar as a permanent product with a huge advertising campaign behind it.

Cadburys say that their chocolate sales remained ‘robust’, while gum and sweets returned to growth after the slow start at the beginning of the year. They recently launched, in the UK, a major campaign, on Trident gum packaging, to win tickets to see Beyonce at The 02 Arena. The consumer was given the opportunity to win free tickets to attend the concert every time they bought a pack of Trident gum.

Carex Taps Into Swine Flu Fears

Carex, the Cussons hand wash brand, is launching a press campaign in response to The Department of Health’s ‘Catch it, kill it, bin it’ Swine Flu adverts.

The campaign aims to tell people that Carex can help stop the spread of germs. ‘Don’t panic, Carex can handle it’ is the strapline on the adverts, which will run across major national press.

Getting across an important message to as many people as possible requires the use of a multitude of mediums. For instance, the Cussons’ campaign supports the multi-media government health drive, which has been raised by the influenza pandemic. The Department of Health has launched a public health ad campaign across TV, print and radio, to alert people of the symptoms of Swine Flu and actions to prevent it spreading, and Carex, as the leading brand within the hand wash sector in the UK, wants to get behind them.

A multi facetted advertising campaign doesn’t have to deliver just bad news or preventative advise though. If you need help to get your message across, Touch Marketing & Design can help you. We have created campaigns for a range of clients with a range of messages. It could be a campaign you wish to run locally, regionally, nationally or even internationally through outdoor advertising,  national press as well as features in magazine publications. Have a look at our online advertising portfolio and see how we can help you get your message across to the people who matter.

The adverts use various animals including a Crocodile, a Leopard and an Owl, which have replaced the heads of models. These are accompanied with quirky headlines; for example the Owl advert features the headline ‘Naturally Sharp Mind’. Combining these with the strapline ‘You ought to drink more water’ the campaign aims to promote the health benefits of hydration.
