Edinburgh Festivals Site Launches
The website promoting Edinburgh Festivals has now been launched – www.edinburghfestivals.co.uk.
As Edinburgh is a capital of cultural events and arts festivals it was vital to have a central service, which allows consumers to find out information on any ongoing and future events throughout the city. The website gives information that will appeal to different cultural audiences with great interactive services available.
The website, which has been created by Leeds based digital agency Numiko, represents 12 of the city’s major festivals throughout the year. The site will be developed in the future to enable ticket booking and purchasing system covering around 300 venues. A TV channel will also, hopefully, be part of these future developments.

Rebecca Adlington Launches New Website
Rebecca Adlington, double Olympic gold medal winning British swimmer, now has a new website, www.rebeccaadlington.co.uk, which launched earlier this month. The website was designed by a Warwickshire based design studio.
After winning at the Olympics in Beijing there has been an enormous interest in Rebecca and she hopes this will continue over the next few years. The new website will allow her to keep fans and visitors of the site informed of her ventures and progress. People will also be able to read about Rebecca and find important information about her including statistics, school projects she is involved with and recent media stories.

Packard Bell Reveals New Identity
As part of a multi-brand strategy computer company Packard Bell have revamped their brand identity.
Changing from ‘Packard Bell’ to ‘PB’ the company logo now uses a curved-edge font and is red in colour rather than purple.
Packard Bell has recently launched a new product line in addition to this change, which includes the Dot M and Dot S notebook computers, as well as the EasyNote Butterfly notebook.

SECC Gets a New Website
An Edinburgh based digital agency has designed a new website for The Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC).
The new site is aimed at event buyers looking for a suitable venue to host conferences, exhibitions or concerts and also gives event goers easier access to buying tickets.
This new site better positions the SECC within their competitive marketplace both nationally and internationally. Along with better functionality the site has an interactive map of all spaces within the venue and 360 degree photography, helping to illustrate the venue as a good place to do business.

Water retailer 'Springs' into action!
Highland Spring launches a new press campaign, which features scenes from classic Hollywood movies. The ‘iconic love’ campaign went live in May with an outdoor advert.
The adverts, created by their Glasgow based agency, include icons such as Lassie, Tarzan, Charlie Chaplin and Frankenstein and incorporate the green Highland Spring bottle with the strap line ‘now that’s true love’.
Highland Spring hopes the campaign will reflect its quality and trustworthiness. The adverts will also be supported by a micro-site which is set to be launched alongside a new consumer website.
